especialidad.<\/li><li>Utilizar los conocimientos de la epidemiolog\u00eda, salud p\u00fablica para manejar correctamente las implicaciones sociales que plantean la reproducci\u00f3n humana y la problem\u00e1tica de la patolog\u00eda pedi\u00e1trica.<\/li><li>Relacionar las bases biol\u00f3gicas, ps\u00edquicas y socioculturales de la sexualidad y sus manifestaciones y manejar en forma adecuada los problemas que de ellas deriven.<\/li><li>Detectar y derivar los casos cl\u00ednicos que bajo su responsabilidad ameriten la participaci\u00f3n de las subespecialidades.<\/li><li>Realizar adecuadamente los procedimientos m\u00e9dicos y quir\u00fargicos, en todos aquellos problemas de la especialidad que as\u00ed lo requieran y que deban ser resueltos en el nivel de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en que se desempe\u00f1en.<\/li><li>Utilizar la metodolog\u00eda cient\u00edfica en la realizaci\u00f3n de sus actividades asistenciales, docentes y de investigaci\u00f3n.<\/li><li>Valorar el compromiso que crea la adquisici\u00f3n de conocimientos, destrezas y actitudes en su pr\u00e1ctica profesional, para lograr un mejor resultado en la integraci\u00f3n del ni\u00f1o y su
